Windows 7 has aProblem Steps Recorder that will record a user’s actions and take screenshots of their desktop in order to provide support.

Go to start and in the search field type ‘psr’, click on the application and it will bring up a window to start recording. The user can do a task that is causing a problem or giving out an error message. When it’s down hit stop record and it will save as MHTML file and zip it up. When you open the file it will go step by step what the user did while its recording and show the screen shot for every step.
